I took this picture at the beginning of the week as they were pulling down the tall pink building that used to obscure the view from Las Galletas over to Westhaven Bay.  The pink building, next to the Italian restaurant that used to be called La Taverna degli Artisti, has been derelict and breeze-blocked up for months if not years.  It's gone now.

I don't live there any more KB, but it's looking very smart now.  The derelict building on the corner that was held up with only mesh and prayers became front row after the Atlantida came down, and as a result has been restored and refurbished and made very smart.  The last time I was there (a few months ago now) it looked like it was about to open as a business but I've no idea what.  It would make a nice little bar.  Where the Atlantida itself stood is now an extension of the beach, making the Rambla and the space around it feel much more open and pleasant.  I'll try and remember to take some photographs next time I'm there
