XXI Annual El Médano triathlon Sunday 12 June

Anyone in the El Médano area this Sunday who would like to see 350 or so grown adults torturing themselves taking part in sport might be interested in the XXI Annual El Médano triathlon.

The event, now in its 21st year, starts at 9am, with some 350 expected to take part. As usual, many more are likely to be lining the routes to watch the 1.5 km swim, followed by a 40 km cycle race, and ending with a 10 km foot race. Gruelling is not the word! As usual the TF643 El Médano to Los Abrigos will be closed between 8.30 and 12.30. It's a big day locally, and a fun day out for all those watching.
