Where in Florida Maccy?...And is that meant to say UK? If it is then there's no real reason for a stopover, other than just for a break from flying. She's gonna be looking at 9 hours plus messing about between, then another 4 or 5 to reach TFS.
How about trying Florida to France or Spain and then on from there?

Or Dublin?... :tiphat:

Oops..sorry Maccy I missed Sarasota...I'm sure it can be done...

And another edit...lol

Looks like Sarasota is the fly in the ointment. I would suggest Sarasota to JFK with Jet Blue, and then Iberia to TFS via Madrid.......

Wouldn't think anything direct from Sarasota to UK. Cheapest and may be even the best way would be Orlando- Gatwick, and then any one of loads of flights to TFS. Through booking may be tricky, although BA may well be possible.

Thanks @TOTO 99 & @Delderek
British Airways do Orlando / Gatwick but only 2 hours between flight to Tenerife so suspect not doable without major luck and roller skates
Have tried Florida ( any airport within reason) to Uk. .London, Manchester, Glasgow ,Edinburgh but seem to hit bloody brick wall
Because solo lady traveller I was trying to make without stopover or stops but at now nada

Janet

I've found THIS with Iberia, @macdonald5  ... I've taken a screenshot in case the link goes back to the main page ...

It's not cheap, but it's a return direct ticket over your dates ...

Many of the transatlantic flights arrive early, so with a through ticket it should not be a problem. BA use the North terminal at Gatwick, so does not even involve a terminal change. Janet's routing would work, but a hell of a long journey. Maybe even look at a non through ticket, and use Easy jet for the Tenerife section, they also use the North terminal, you would need possibly three hours to be safe if using this option. Many more Tenerife flights from the South terminal, which is only 3 mins away by the automated "Transit".
