When I drove past the ITV in Las Chafiras yesterday the staff were striking outside the front with big signs hung up saying "huelga".  @Janet, do you know any details?  It must be pretty bad for any workers to be striking right now...
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

It's been a fairly wide strike, but only in some parts, and just on Thursdays and Fridays. It's affected the Adeje, San Miguel and Arafo stations, and the strike dates were 18, 19, 25 and 26 February. They say they will decide what more to do after that. It seems to have something to do with proposed suggestions (maybe as firm as "plans") to privatise ITVs into regulated private enterprises ...

Thanks Janet, I knew you'd know  :D  Good on them!  Nothing would persuade our lot to go on strike - they're too afraid of losing their jobs or suffering repercussions within the job.

For anyone who doesn't know, the ITV is the equivalent of the UK's MOT for road vehicles  :tiphat:
