There is a Queen Tribute on in the Magma Centre this weekend I was trying to book tickets online but wasn't sure if the price that was showing is a residents' price or for anyone. I know quite often there are discounts for resident so I didn't want to book and turn up and as we don't have DNIs they would charge us some astronomical price. I emailed them in Spanish but nobody has replied. Anyone know about their pricing structure?

Janet

The prices for the tickets still available are 25€ and 27€ for the main floor (plus 1,50€ or so for IGIC), and those are the prices for everyone it seems. No resident discount as far as I'm aware.

Is this "We Will Rock You" Marion?  It was showing in Santa Cruz some months ago.  I was totally unaware it had made its way to the west.  If you go let us know how you liked it.

[ot]Which reminds me, a couple of weeks ago Janet and Nova and OH and I saw Evita at the Auditorio.  (Forgive me if this is a repeat but I have had guests for 10 days and done a lot of herding cats and my mind is not what it used to be.)  It was great.  In Spanish.  No llores por mí Argentina....[/ot]

Thanks Janet, wish I'd asked you earlier. There were still VIP seats left then. We are too old for standing!

I would advise against going to see anything musical in that building . . . especially if it is something you like.

Appalling acoustics, and I'm not nit picking. Sounds bad.

How did the Queen concert go?

I heard they set up a stage in the carpark outside the building . . . . . I wish I'd gone now.
