19th Las Galletas Half Marathon 12 April 2015

2015′s Las Galletas half marathon has been announced. It will take place on 12 April, and runners can register from 1 February. There will be more detail in due course, I'm sure, though the format is well established by now, and in the meantime the official website is HERE, and above is a video from Arona Ayuntamiento of last year's race. The inscription period opens today for participants to register, and they can do so until 29 March. The form for registration is HERE, though runners can also sign up at Los Cristianos' Pabellón municipal de deportes, or Guzmán Sport in La Laguna, or Mundi Sport in Puerto de La Cruz. Prices for registration in the official inscription period are €13 for the 10.8km race and €18 for the 21km (there's a small discount for federated athletes or "corredor plus" cardholders). Late registrants who sign up between 30 March and 6 April will pay €22 and €25 respectively. As normal, runners will collect their numbers and runner's bag on 11 April, the day before the race, between 10am and 8pm at the Rambla de Las Galletas, where there will also be a sports-related fair.
