Young woman dies in collision on TF5

A tragic accident on the TF5 yesterday morning left an 18-year-old woman dead and three others of between 20 and 26 years of age injured when their car collided with a lorry at the San Vicente bend at Los Realejos shortly before 8am. The injured women, one said to be in serious condition, were transferred variously to HUC. Bellevue, and Hospital del Norte in Icod, but the youngest of the group sadly couldn't be helped. The TF5 was at a standstill for several hours while emergency services and road teams dealt with the accident. JA
