Angler dies after cliff fall at Puerto de la Cruz

A 66-year-old angler died this lunchtime after falling into the sea in the Acantilado Los Perejiles area of Puerto de la Cruz. Emergency services were called to the scene, but the man was already dead. Bomberos recovered his body from the water and a lifeboat brought it into the harbour where the Policía Nacional took over the formalities. JA
