Forest Fire on the mountains.

First fire of the year? Just 30 min ago I saw smoke coming off the tops of the mountain To the North of Arafo. A few seconds later the distinctive sound of a helicopter circling round the plume of smoke. I took some photos but to be fair even in 'ultra zoom' you can't see much.

And as usual I can't seem to load them!! I have re-sized them but it still doesn't seem to work......... But they did!!! shock horror don't know how that happened

I have got one where you can see the water being dropped, well I could see it but not yet sure if the camera got it.

The aircraft has now appeared on the scene.

As of half an hour ago the fire is "controlado" P,  you will be relieved to know.  It seems there is also a coincidental fire drill for forest fires in the peaks in the north of the island at the same time.

Ah! That explains it Nova. The smoke was very localized and the speed of the aircraft arrival was very quick. Nice to see it in action though.
