Does anyone know if there are any or that type of organization?

Janet

I don't know about civil liberties, but there's Podemos ...

and of course there's always Amnesty International (Spain) ... :link:

Thanks Janet, I thought of Podemos but not sure their the right group. Its to futher my latest EU quest about the 'Black Box' thing. Everything I have from the EU, of which they are now part of, is pointing me to all the EU crap I have read in the first place.
But I'll give it a try and see if they have an office in Santa Cruz.

Pelinor keep us posted on your efforts and results.  Also if you need signatures.  Don't know if you are aware of change.org but it's a place for petitions and there are ways to get the word around.

Up the establishment!

Fuck the EU!

I didn't know about that petition Myrtle. I knew about the one that needs a million signatures of people from several EU countries. But as far as I am aware there has only been one success with that one, Clean water something or other.

I'm going to ring a bloke up this week from the EU. So I should have a bit more info. I'm assuming that the whole of the EU is subject to freedom of information. Since this EU law enforces all cars to be fitted with this system, I'm assuming that the companies that supply the equipment and the car companies that fit it have to submit to a freedom of information request?

Unfortunately I have a bucket of stuff to do before my daughter, grand daughter, son and girl friend land in a couple of weeks for a holiday. So my complaining may have to take to the back burner.
