Adeje’s Feria del Saldo, 15 June

Adeje's Feria del Saldo 2014 will be held on 15 June between 10am and 9pm in the car park of the Adeje Music School in Las Torres ... on the fountain roundabout near Mercadona. This is an annual market for local businesses to offer at sale prices all the stock they wish to liquidate, or ends of lines, and so on. The organizers hope that it will help local commerce, and it will certainly see quite a few bargains for shoppers.

Since the initial announcement, which announced the fair for Sunday 15th, it has been confirmed that Adeje's Feria del Saldo will cover this weekend, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June. Held  in the car park of the Adeje Music School in Las Torres at the fountain roundabout near Mercadona, the fair will be open to the public from 10am to 9pm. The participating stalls are from small shops and businesses in Adeje and other parts of the island and offer bargains to the public in clothing, shoes, IT software, underwear, electro-domestic goods, children's clothing, sporting goods and clothes, beachwear, bags, household goods and accessories.

For the shops this is an opportunity to sell off extra stock, facilitate the rotation of products and allow smaller shops prepare for the summer season. This year the Adeje department for job creation and employment also hopes the fair will be used as a communication platform between participating businesses and consumers with promotions and post-event commercial contacts to encourage a client-base expansion. There will be food stalls and diversions for the younger members of the family as well as workshops hosted by the Adeje Animation Activate group during both days of the trade fair. JA
