Birds in the house

Are we just lucky or does anybody else have birds flying into the house on a regular basis?  I have never experienced the like.  I have to get rid of one about once a week.  I would not mind them except that they shit everywhere.  And I just cleaned the windows and the poor thing that got in today kept slamming into windows trying to get out.

I think they are chiffchaffs but am not sure.
