Busy Easter week for all tastes!

It's a busy Easter week in south Tenerife with events catering for all tastes ... literally catering, in the case of Los Cristianos, with the Canarian Food fair in the harbour area on Saturday and Sunday (link). Meanwhile, since yesterday and until tomorrow, the town is also hosting the Book Fair (link), and later today, a talk in the auditorium as part of the Thor Heyerdahl centenary commemorative celebrations (link).

Those who fancy bargain hunting will enjoy the Fería del Saldo (link) in El Médano this weekend, followed by the traditional, vintage and collectors' items fair in San Miguel from Tuesday (link). There'll be another Thor Heyerdahl event in the Güímar pyramids themselves on Monday (link), and the week concludes with the start of Easter proper, and the beautiful Pascua Florida in Guía de Isora between Thursday 17 and Sunday 20 (link), and of course the incredible Passion Play in Adeje on Good Friday, 18 April Link. Whatever you're doing, I hope you have a lovely and meaningful Easter.
