Health Centre in Los Cristianos closed as temporary measure after broken pipe

The health centre in the Valdes Centre in Los Cristianos has been closed today because of a burst pipe. The Canarian government's health department, Sanidad, said that the breakage happened early this morning and that teams were already working to repair the damage and clean up so as to open as soon as possible. The health centre remains open for emergencies, but prior appointments have been cancelled. Patients have been informed, Sanidad says, but if anyone has an appointment there and has not received a message, do check before attending. JA
