Woman dies after being knocked down on Buzanada to La Camella road

Sadly the second such story this morning. A 40-year-old woman has died after being knocked down by a van on the TF-657 Aldea Blanca-Buzanada-La Camella road. The accident happened just before 9am, and emergency services found her with such critical head injuries that they were unable to do anything to save her life. She was pronounced dead at the scene. It now appears that this was a tragic accident after an unattended van which was parked at the side of the road started moving after its handbrake failed. The vehicle crossed the road and ran into a wall just where the woman happened to be. JA
