Los Cristianos resident arrested at TFS for smuggling cocaine in capsules inside his body

Guardia Civil officers based at TFS have arrested a 39-year-old resident of Los Cristianos for drug trafficking. The man was detained in the arrivals hall after his nervousness aroused police suspicion. His luggage was searched, but it was inside his body that he was carrying the drugs, the confession he made being subsequently proven by x-ray. He was found to be carrying 40 capsules containing, in total, 407 grams of cocaine. He is now being processed by police. JA
