Tenerife's reservoirs are 30% full after last week's rains, technicians say. Things could be better, they claim, but 30% is a positive figure at this stage given both the very dry Autumn we've had, and that we can reasonably expect more rain before the season is over, particularly in February. The water that is already stored, in any case, guarantees the irrigation of crops next summer. JA
