World windsurf championships in El Médano for 3rd consecutive year 3-9 August

For the third year in succession, El Cabezo beach in El Médano will host the world professional windsurfing championships. The event, which will take place beween between 3 and 9 August, has been confirmed by Granadilla mayor Jaime González Cejas after details were completed with organizers Club DB.  The mayor said that the Ayuntamiento was delighted to support the championships again since El Médano has become known as one of the best destinations in the world for aquatic sports.
