La Orotava wine selected as one of world's most prestigious by influential Wine

The Wine Society has included a red La Orotava wine, 7 Fuentes, in its list of the most prestigious wines in the world. Owner of Bodegas Suertes, Francisco García Núñez, said that it was a great honour to be included, while wine expert Roberto Santana explained that 7 Fuentes was the product of native grapes cultivated from 100 year old vines at an altitude of between 300 and 600 metres. Since 2008 the wine has been exported to many European countries and elsewhere throughout the world, becoming a point of such reference that it has now, at last, been noticed by the influential Wine Society.
