New Coviran supermarket in Las Galletas

Today, Coviran opened the doors to its new supermarket in Las Galletas, situated by Windy Corner (Punta del Viento) car park, next to where the Para-Farmacia used to be.  It's open 7 days a week until 10pm without closing in the middle of the day.  I called in after work and they have a good range of stuff, like a mini-Mercadona.  Their prices are good too, €1.97 for a big bottle of Fairy, €3.55 for the same tub of Ben & Jerry's ice cream that they charge €5.95 for in the 24 hour shop and the wine I buy is only 15 cents more than in Mercadona.  They also have a deli counter, a little fresh bakery section and a good range of fresh fruit and veg.

The best bit for me is being able to call in on the way home from work rather than having to go home then come out again an hour later, as with the shops that close for midday.  All the other shops in the village had better look out - they're going to be seriously affected by this!
