Shops open in Santa Cruz on Sundays.

It would seem that the shops are being allowed to open in Santa Cruz on the first Sunday of each month. Just had this info from one of the in laws. We went to the Rastro this morning but didn't walk into town so I can't verify this.
I will try and verify it during the week, but until I have seen it with my own eyes or it's confirmed by someone else I wouldn't plan any shopping trips. It could just be an 'Island tale'
