Many will have seen the famous photograph of the Afghan Girl, immortalized in National Geographic, even if they're not familiar with photographer Steve McCurry – he is now widely regarded as one of the most outstanding photographers of modern times. Now there is a chance to see some of his work here in Tenerife, with a "retrospective", in the Espacio Cultural de CajaCanarias in Santa Cruz, between 13 March and 29 June.

Entry prices vary: CajaCanarias clients go in free, as do students and pensioners; resident non clients pay €2, non-residents €5. The exhibition will be open Mondays to Wednesdays 11am-1pm and 5-9pm; Thursdays and Fridays 11am-1pm and 5-8pm; and Saturdays 11am-2pm and 5-8pm. There is a full website HERE with all information about the Steve McCurry retrospective, including a map of how to get to the Espacio Cultural. JAA
