The wife and I do the 'Rastro' in Santa Cruz every Sunday morning. But we were thinking of going further a field. We heard that there was an antique type market in Guamasa on a Sunday? Anyone any ideas.

Think you might mean Guaza, G, and it's much much more a car boot sale than a "market". I've found it to be very samey with a great many pickpockets ... but undoubtedly some clear bargains. But not a market like the rastro ...

There's all sorts of tat to be found in the big Sunday market in Los Cristianos  :tiphat:
If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know amazing.

Think your right Janet my mistake it was Guaza. Think we'll stick to the 'Rastro' then. We don't buy every week, its more fun looking for stuff that turns up now and again. The 'dealers' (for want of a better expression) tend to be quite expensive and greedy. But now and again we strike lucky. Today we got a double ships stern lamp copper and brass from Japan for €50. But we probably won't buy anything else for weeks.
