Second Trail Run Almendros y Volcanes de Santiago del Teide 15 June.

The second Trail Run Almendros y Volcanes de Santiago del Teide will be held on 15 June at 4pm. The mountain race counts towards the Circuito Trangoworld and is organized by Santiago del Teide's Sports Department with collaboration from a range of organizations and businesses including Naviera Armas, Physiorelax, Fuente Alta, Base Deportes Salud, Guardería Enanitos, Gesport Canarias, Fisiosalud Puerto Santiago, Vigilia Park and Cooperativa Agrícola de Tamaimo.

There will be two different levels, the first 14 km course starting in Santiago del Teide square and going through El Valle de Arriba and Montaña de Bilma before heading back to the square; the second 21 km course adds a detour down to Arguayo, through Las Manchas before returning to Santiago del Teide. Inscriptions are now open and runners can register up to 13 June, and must be made online HERE; there is further information on www.deportesantiagodelteide.com. Inscription costs €12 for the 14 km race and €17 for the 21 km: there is no charge for those with a Certificado de Empadronamiento in Santiago del Teide, nor for athletes from the mainland or other islands if they present their travel ticket when collecting their numbers. Numbers will be handed over on the day of the race itself in the sports annexe at the Ayuntamiento de Santiago del Teide between 1.30 and 3.30pm. Prizes and trophies will be awarded for the various categories in both races. JA

I'm afraid that's a big NFW (as a salute to Mazoka's thread on the word fuck).  Thanks to Cyberhiker we have hiked part of that route and it is not runnable for me, no way no how.  You will find me nowhere near that place at that time on that day.
