Can you help locate this missing woman?

The above picture is of Ana Isabel González from La Laguna, and her family are desperately trying to find her. She is 40 years old, and disappeared on Monday, being seen last in the plaza del Adelantado in La Laguna when she was leaving her daughter at her parents' house. Her disappearance is said to be completely out of character.

A bit more information that just might help find this woman, who remains missing. She is 1.7m tall (that's 5' 5"), chestnut hair, as can be seen from the photo, and is slim. There is no information yet on what she was wearing when last seen.

Sadly, there are reports tonight that a body has been found in La Verdellada, and that it is Ana Isabel González Pérez. At this stage, Policía Local, Policía  Nacional and bomberos are at the scene. It seems that Ana died shortly after she disappeared. More as soon as it's available.

Police say that the body was spotted under the old bridge in the La Verdellada area of La Laguna by a local resident and that its recovery last night was a long and complex operation. Although there is still no official announcement of the body's identification, it is unofficially said to be that of Ana Isabel González Pérez who has been missing for a week. It seems from initial reports that the injuries sustained suggest she fell from the bridge. JA

It's believed that this poor woman committed suicide. It's understood that the family was experiencing financial difficulties. The husband unemployed and little money coming into the home. She leaves two young children and her husband. Very sad that things should come to this.
