New Year's Eve celebrations in Tenerife

There will be parties throughout Tenerife to celebrate the New Year, one of the foremost being in the Plaza de San Sebastián in La Caleta, Adeje. Most other towns, though, will themselves have music and dance to welcome in 2013, with El Médano this year promising two spectacular parties, one in the town plaza and the other in Plaza Roja. In Los Cristianos, as usual, celebrations will be in the Plaza del Pescador outside the Cultural Centre. Festivities kick off around 10.30 - 11pm, with the lucky grapes and champagne often provided, as well as free buses, and dance bands providing the atmosphere ... and of course, the fireworks at midnight! Wherever you're celebrating, may you have a very happy and safe New Year's Eve, and a 2013 that's memorable for all the right reasons. Happy New Year!
