Welcome gift to Tenerife Food Banks

There was a 'Special' on Mirame Tv last night hosted by Manuel Artiles one of the stations presenters. He has been critical of the local Government over the past few months and championing the plight of people suffering under the 'Crises' in Tenerife. Anyway they were celebrating the collection of 125 tons of food stuffs donated for distribution to the most needy on the Island over Christmas

well done indeed, and thank you for posting Guanche. I know from my own mailbag that many English-speakers believe that nothing is done, and that unless they pack bags in Iceland or have dog-walking collections people here would starve!
