Fatal accident in Las Chafiras

A 49-year-old woman died and two others were injured in a crash in Las Chafiras shortly before 8am this morning. The collision involved two vehicles on the TF65 San Miguel to Los Abrigos road, and the force of the impact overturned the poor woman's car. Emergency services at the scene attempted to save her life but her injuries were so extensive that they were sadly unable to help her. She was eventually cut out of her vehicle by the bomberos. The other vehicle was a taxi containing two men of 35 and 38, both of whom were transferred to Hospitén Sur in conditions said not to be life-threatening. JA
