XII Clásica de Tenerife – Classic car rally today

If you see a fair few old but extremely well-looked after cars on the roads in Tenerife today, you'll be seeing the XII Clásica de Tenerife – the 12th classic car rally. The video above is of last year's, and as you'll see, there is a great range of old cars, from minis to Porsche, MGs to Ladas! This year, 38 teams are participating, and today's stages are:

Salida (Puerto de la Cruz, Avenida Colón): 9am; Los Realejos- Icod Alto TF 342 La Guancha. TF 5: 9.30 am; Icod-La Vega-San Juan de Los Llanos El Tanque – Lomo Molino-TF 423-Garachico: 11am; Subida El Tanque TF 421 Santiago del Teide: 11.48 am; Tamaimo-Guía de Isora: 12.32 am: Plata San Juan-Vera de Erques- CC Plaza del Duque (Adeje): 13.06 pm (rest break); Salida; CC Plaza del Duque: 14.30 pm; Arona-Vilaflor-Granadilla: 15.45pm; Arico-Fasnia-TF 1 16.57pm; Plaza de La candelaria Santa Cruz: 18 pm. They're not coming through Las Galletas??     I like classic cars, I always wanted a Ford Anglia

seems not ... and yes, I like them too! There are some fabulous cars in that video ... particularly the MGs!

Is there a classic car show on this weekend?  We saw an impressive convoy of classic cars pass through Las Galletas this morning, including a Mini, a Minx, and about half a dozen others
