Annual children's movie in La Rambla

Well that's my evening ruined!  They're just about to start the annual children's movie on a giant screen just below my balcony.  It amazes me why they can't do this in the daytime or at least earlier in the evening, though I suppose it's better to see the screen in the dark.  It also amazes me why they have to have the volume turned up to concert levels - I mean, do they want their children growing up deaf???
