Thank you, just checking  :tiphat:

Isn't there a Spanish version of "Spitting Image"?  That could be so funny!

Sorry, I have another question.  I seem to remember something about streets with reference to Franco in the name were to be changed.  Is that not happening now?  Are any that were changed to be changed back to their original, like Avenida General Franco in Los Cristianos??

I think they've changed pretty much all of them over to new names now ... there's no place for facist symbolism in democratic Spain ...  :tiphat:

Maybe I should buy a cave in the mountains and become a hermit when I get there.  :giggle:

just don't call a copper a lazy git ...

Michael

I was just thinking, supposing a drunken Brit tourist called a cop a 'lazy git' or worse?

What, like "wanker" or "tw@t"?  I think that would be bad... very bad...  I wouldn't want to be in that guy's position :nono:

Ok, so what if a cop called Juan Carlos Arzola Arzola, which is really quite a common name, picked up some ignorant Brit who ignorantly pronounced his name in a way that sounded more like "Wanker Los Arseholes Arsehole". Do you think he would be prosecuted?  :undecided:
