Would you know if the volleyball court has always been there, or is it something new? It's years since I was down there. I can't work out if it's just for setting out, or if the framework will be staying? There seems a lot of it.

I was going to say it's been there for years,  but thinking back I also remember it being on the Harbour beach. If my memory serves me correctly it was on the harbour beach most of the time, but when any major competitions are held, it is moved up to Las Vistas.

Thanks for that. Yes I've seen it down at the harbour beach but I've not ventured round the corner for years. The framework is intriguing me...if indeed that's what it is.

I don't understand the thinking behind discinfecting the beaches though. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. I can see a risk to marine life. Even if the tide doesn't come in, people are in and out of the water. There's also the question of how long it will last? Unless of course they intend doing it every day maybe..
