You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. Your Personal Data

When you register an account with ChalkCat you are asked to provide a username and a valid email address.  These details are used only within ChalkCat to verify you as a human visitor, to verify your identity in the event you may need to reset your password and to send you notifications of relevant activities on the forum, such as new personal messages or new posts on topics for which you have requested notification.  From time to time we may use your details to send newsletters and announcements related to ChalkCat forum.  These newsletters and other notifications can be turned on or off within the Notifications section of your forum profile.  You can also unsubscribe from newsletters by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every newsletter..

You may also choose to provide other information such as your date of birth or location, but these details are optional and can be removed from your profile by you at any time.

With each post, your IP address is recorded for use in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted.  This will only happen in the event of a major violation of the forum rules or registration agreement or upon demand from a law enforcement agency bearing an appropriate warrant.

ChalkCat is a privately-run forum and all personal data obtained by us through your use of the forum are understood to be provided for the sole purpose of using and enjoying our forum.  We will never share your personal data with any third party or use them for any other purpose.

You have the right to download a copy of all your forum data, including, if you wish, your posts and private messages. You can do this in the "Actions" section of your Forum Profile.

You may also delete your own account at any time in the "Actions" section of your Forum Profile.  Please note that account deletion is irreversible and you will need to confirm your password to delete your account. Deleting your account will remove your personal information from your profile but will not remove any of your forum posts . Your posts and replies will remain in order to preserve the integrity of forum discussions.

How ChalkCat Uses Cookies

This forum software places just two cookies on your computer:

PHPSESSID, which is necessary for all users and guests. It is a session cookie, basically to remember your place on the forum. This cookie is short-lived and expires at the end of your session.

SMFCookie971, which is a cookie necessary for registered users only. It is a text file that stores bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This cookie is used ONLY to keep you logged in/out and its duration is set by you at the point of logging in, using the "time to stay logged in" drop down box below your username and password.

At this point, ChalkCat has no advertising and uses no third party cookies.
